Work on the site will be sporadic until then, as I (Derek C. F. Pegritz: editor, site admin, designer, etc.) am currently looking for a new job and a new apartment/house for rent. Alas, the trials of being a thoroughly-average Human 1.0 trying to make it in a pre-nanoassembly economy built on concepts of “scarcity” and free-market resource allocation. Nonetheless, Singularitales.com wishes to send a big thank-you to all the folks who have already begun to submit stories; and a slightly bigger thank-you to Michael Anissimov, of Accelerating Future fame,  for mentioning our humble effort on his blog and thereby leading many of you reading this here.
